What about Navimail and Inmarsat-C ?
Navimail does work with Inmarsat-C.
Since July the 1st, we made it easier and more comfortable.
In particular, it’s now possible to receive directly your
message.
To install these new facilities :
• If you are using Navimail for the first time :
Follow the indications to download the Navimail package :
it’s already fit for Standard C. All information and
operating instructions are available in the user’s manual.
 First Download
• If you are already using Navimail, with a version older than
July the 1st :
You have to update your version.
Actually, you have to make the new version replace the old
one : so, the best way is :
- download the new version in a temporary directory
- identify the old version of Navimail (be sure to have correctly
identified the one you use, you can be helped by the new version,
the directories’ names were kept). Backup it, or delete
it by keeping the backup of the trash : so, if there is any
problem during the installation, you’ll be able to restore
it.
- copy / paste the new directories to replace the old ones
follow the indications to download the updated version for
Standard C.
